Diablo III Confirmed? 9 November, 2006

Richard A. Knaak, author of the new Diablo: Sin War Trilogy gave some huge hints at a Diablo 3 the other day. The author participated in a Q&A on IRC.
When asked “So… Diablo 3?”, Knaak replied simply, “I am not writing for a dead world … but a world with dead in. ’nuff said!”
Now I’m no psychic, but this sounds seriously like Blizzard will want to dish out another helping of the menacing world of Diablo. In reply to another question, Knaak said in his answer, “I know that Blizzard is very eager to make Diablo fans happy.”
Here’s hoping I’ll be a happy bunny some time soon! You can check out the whole interview here: BlizzPlanet

DS Community 11 September, 2006

You may’ve noticed DS Community in the Blogroll, and since i’ve just posted about Connection Lost on their forums – I though it’d be the right thing to do to give them an honorable mention on here.
Now, i’ve always loved forums. I think they’re a great way of interacting with people, and making friends with people you wouldn’t have normally. But forums can also be really crap, if the people using them are…well, noobs. So when I found some Nintendo V.I.P points, I registered them online, and signed up to their forum. It seemed to be a breeding-ground of illegiable 10-year-olds. But Tim, owner of DS community came to the rescue, and posted a linkto his forums.
When I signed up to the DSC Forums, I felt instanty at-home, thanks to all the firnedly staff, and members. I can’t get enough of this great community- and if you’re a Nintendo fan, this is definatly the forum for you.
My WiFi Dongle Range Solution 10 September, 2006

Since I don’t have a Wireless Router, I bought the Official Nintendo WiFi Dongle. Unfortunatly, due to the positioning of my PC in my house, I could only sit down and use WiFi when I was at my PC. Lame. But I came up with a easy, and quite boring solution.

Mario Kart DS – Now with 53% more WiFi! 8 September, 2006

Well – that was a lie, it’s always had the same amount of WiFi. But, dispite that, it’s a damn good game to play against friends over WiFi. I played a bit today and yesterday night and got my first feel of playing a competetive game against someone you know, over WiFi, on a DS.
